ISTANBUL, Turkey (eTN) – A hotel being constructed by an Azeri businessman is expected to re-define the concept of luxury in hotels throughout the globe. Mardan Istanbul Palace is Ismailov’s new hotel in Antalya will cost 400 million USD to complete.

ISTANBUL, Turkey (eTN) – A hotel being constructed by an Azeri businessman is expected to re-define the concept of luxury in hotels throughout the globe. Mardan Istanbul Palace is Ismailov’s new hotel in Antalya will cost 400 million USD to complete.

At Mardan Istanbul Palace, the lavish hospitality experience will start even before guests make it through the Palace gates as they are introduced to a unique world of exclusivity the moment they land. The resort’s loby has decorative gold leaf ceilings which took months to painstakingly apply.
Conveniently located 20 km to city center, 10 km to airport and 20 km to world famous Belek golf courses.

Antique cities such as Side and Perge with its magnificient Roman theatres are in a 25 km radius and skiing will be just 60 km away. Facing the mediteranien and the Aksu river has an excellent view.

With first-ever services and amenities such as the largest guest suites in the region, a unique personalised butler service and unimaginable interior design aspects of a most spectacular calibre, to name a few.

The swimming pool of the hotel will be 24,000 square meters large and will be the world’s second biggest swimming pool. The swimming pool resemble the Istanbul Strait –Bosphorus will have two wooden bridges connecting the two sides. They build it according to a plan resemble the Galata Bridge masterminded by Leonardo Da Vinci.

Dining: Indulge the Senses Pleasant ambiance and outstanding cuisine are sure to bring accolades to the resort`s seven restaurants. Guests can experience the best of world cuisine served in restaurants with sumptuous settings where they overlook the pool.

The most attractive restaurant will be placed at the center of the pool resembling the ‘Kiz Kulesi’ (Leander Tower) in Istanbul.

The ‘Kiz Kulesi’ restaurant will be surrounded by an 80 meters long aquarium. On the bottom of the ‘Kiz Kulesi’ restaurant will be four separate aquariums each displaying fish from four seas.

Interiors: Lavish and refined Interior designers spent an extensive time researching Turkish designs and working to blend colour and textures created specially for the resort, so that guests are completely enveloped in a rich sensory experience.

The hotel will have 500 rooms. 70 percent of all rooms will be 60-70 square meters large. Standard rooms will be 45-50 square meters large while double-bedrooms will be 200 square meters large.

In addition, there will be 20 villas each 100 square meters large and king suites on top floor of the hotel, each 2,500 square meters large.
Ismailov spent 17 million USD for silverware to be utilized in the restaurants.
Interior decoration of the hotel is being made by Zeynep Fadillioglu. All decorative materials resemble historical artefacts from the Ottoman era. Ismailov paid 80,000 Euros for a single sofa dating back the Ottoman era.
While the main body of the hotel will resemble the Dolmabahce Palace, the garden floor will resemble the Covered Bazaar.

Ismailov is making preparations to construct another hotel with a 3,000 rooms capacity for sportsmen and a stadium with a capacity of 8,000 seats near Mardan Istanbul Palace in Antalya.
Levels of service at the resort expected to be second to none, and will provide a benchmark for the industry.

The hotel is being constructed by Turkey’s Zafer Construction Company. Around 2,500 workers and engineers took part in the construction of the hotel.
