A new exhibitor, Ms. Pania Tyson-nathan, CEO of New Zealand Maori Tourism, regarded CITE2011 as a good platform to get new business contacts and consolidate relationships with business partners. New exhibitor, Ms. Yoshimura, the Representative of Japan’s Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organization, also said they had met many potential buyers who were highly interested in their new travel routes along with the newly-launched bullet train line.

A series of concurrent activities, including forums, networking receptions, and seminars, etc., were held to provide an effective platform for information exchange and networking, which attracted thousands of trade visitors to participate. Moreover, numerous traditional performances, including dances and handicraft productions, were presented by tourism officials to introduce their unique cultures.

The next fair is scheduled to be held in September 2012 in Pazhou of Guangzhou City. Building on the success of CITE2011 and the great support from the government, the show scale of the 2012 fair will be bigger and more trade buyers will be invited to the fairground.
